On the release of A level results, a woman committed suicide

Her son/daughter did not get tip-top grades.

Her son/daughter topped the cohort for PSLE and O levels. But not for A level. That is the reason for her suicide.

Are you sure there's a need for that?

She's making her son/daughter guilty, making he/she thinks that he/she brought about the tragedy. He/she could go insane over that.

His/her whole life can be ruined.

Homo sapiens... Haiz. Are you sure grades are that important?

There are a lot of other things apart from grades. It's just a small part of life.

Life is about successes, failures, happiness, sadness... And a lot more.
